  • To take some of the stress out of negotiating the welfare benefit system

  • To ensure that benefit claimants do not lose out financially

  • To provide support to those responsible for dealing with the finances of others

 

Whether an individual is dealing with disability or health problems; moving into or out of care; moving into or out of work; retiring; becoming a carer; separating; or starting a family, we will provide support and advice throughout life's journey.

We operate on a national level from our base in East Yorkshire.

 

 

Who are we?

 

Lorraine Podmore, a welfare benefits expert, leads Richardson Laine.  Lorraine's career spans almost 2 decades and has included, delivery, development, and management of specialist welfare benefits services across the voluntary, statutory and private sectors.

 

Lorraine is a member of the Institute of Welfare and Court of Protection Practitioners Association.

 

Lorraine has a vast personal experience of issues relating to disability, and has an understanding of the difficulties in negotiating the benefits system and the consequences when individuals do not receive their correct welfare benefit entitlement.
